Greg and Samantha Corwin found the perfect size.
When looking for a new home, Greg and Samantha Corwin were looking for something that was appealing, big enough for their three kids and would accommodate a home office. Not to mention something that was in their price range. What they found was a great home in the Maple Street Homes community of Glenhurst, located in Independence, Kentucky. But their new home search did not begin in Glenhurst. The Corwin family began their new home search in the Meadow Glen community, where they first met their Sales Counselor.
"I listened to the Corwins describe what their needs were in a new home," said their Sales Counselor. "After listening to their needs, we came to the conclusion that a Winchester floor plan in Glenhurst was an excellent fit for this family. And, there happened to be one available!"
The Sales Counselor took the Corwins to Glenhurst to show them the new home that was available. The Corwins immediately knew this was the home for them.
"Our Sales Counselor told us there was a 4-bedroom home that was ready to go in the Glenhurst community," stated Greg. "We took a look and saw that it was the perfect size for what we could afford, and we really liked the wooded backyard. Enough said!"
When the Corwins moved in, they immediately took a photo of their kids in the front yard in "Dorothy" costumes. They used the pictures to make change of address cards with "There's no place like our new home" to send out to their family and friends.
Enjoying A New Community
Since moving into their new home, the Corwins have enjoyed their new community. Their children, daughters Alsatia and Savannah Rain and son Atticus, have already made many new friends and love to play in the wooded backyards. With restaurants nearby and downtown just a short drive away, the Corwins love the location of their new home. Greg especially loves the convenience of three golf courses almost right across the street!
"We found a home at the right price and it is not much farther to work," said Greg. "We love our new home location!"
Moving to Glenhurst has provided the Corwins the peace of mind of knowing they live in a safe, family-oriented community. Although they have lived in Glenhurst for only a few months, they already feel like they have lived there for a lifetime. There really is no place like a new home.
